EBB        &           FLOW

Feeling the spirit of the universe, we create Original,Spontaneously Improvised Music for Social Change, while deconstructing music of innovative contemporary composers.

Our recent performance at 10th anniversary International Jazz Day 2021, entitled It's About Time for Justice & Equality 4 All, was a special virtual evening of improvisation, as we deconstructed Its About that Time, written by the legendary Miles Davis for his groundbreaking album In A Silent Way.

Ebb & Flow previously performed (as Emancipation Orch.) @100 Poets for Change with spoken word artists Frank XTeele, Gian Francisco Smith,  Valentine Pierce; pianist/ composer Courtney Bryan, & composer/bandleader,multi-instrumentalist Mario Abney.
